This Privacy Policy explains how Ocean Labs LLC collects, uses, and discloses information through oceanlabs.one (the “Site”). It does not govern Open Music, Flow As Is, Nouvelle, OceanDB, or another product operated by us; each product has or will have its own privacy notice describing its data practices.
You may browse the Site without creating an account. If you contact us by email, we receive the information you include, such as your email address, name, message, and any attachments.
Our hosting and analytics providers may automatically process limited technical information, such as IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages visited, approximate location derived from IP address, request timestamps, and diagnostic or performance information.
We use information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and understand use of the Site; respond to inquiries; maintain business records; enforce our terms; and comply with legal obligations. We do not use Site information for targeted advertising.
The Site uses local storage to remember a theme preference. This preference remains on your device until you clear it or change your browser settings.
We use Vercel to host the Site and Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate Site usage and performance. These services may process technical and usage information on our behalf. The Site does not use advertising cookies or advertising pixels.
We may disclose information to service providers that support hosting, analytics, security, email, and professional services; when required by law or legal process; to protect rights, safety, and security; or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets. Service providers may use information only to provide services to us or as otherwise permitted by law.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We retain correspondence and related business records only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Hosting, security, and analytics information is retained according to our provider settings and operational needs, then deleted or aggregated when it is no longer required.
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information you provided to us by emailing hello@oceanlabs.one. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information when permitted or required by law. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights and the right to appeal a decision concerning a request.
Because the Site does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, it does not offer a separate sale or sharing opt-out. The Site does not currently respond differently to browser Do Not Track signals. Where applicable law requires recognition of a browser-based opt-out preference signal, we will process it as required.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
We and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Those countries may have different data-protection laws than your country of residence.
The Site is a general corporate website and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information to us.
The Site links to product websites and other third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, not this policy.
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. Material changes apply prospectively unless otherwise stated.
